Sounds more like a gnarlier Porsche flat-six than an inline 3 at speed, and half a flat-six at idle. I think the fantastic sound at speed makes up for the sound at idle, though I wish there were something that could be done to make it sound throatier with more baritone.

But, I love my 2006 triumph rocket 3  but I hate the sound it makes. Mine has a tail gunner on right  now  sounds like a car with the exhaust muffler falling off. This one sound nice and looks great on the bike.
