Semi-truck involved in pileup in foggy Lubbock County

A semi-truck was engaged in a big pileup on Highway 84 in Lubbock County, Texas, on Friday, and the whole incident was recorded on video.
At before 10:30 a.m., emergency responders were dispatched to the region immediately southeast of Slaton in response to reports of a semi-truck rollover in the highway's westbound lanes.
More collisions occurred while officials were on the scene, including one in the eastbound lanes.
The trooper was hospitalized with critical injuries but is expected to recover. The individual inside the truck was alert and spoke with the first responders who were attempting to extract them.
According to officials, the extrication procedure took many hours, and the victim was ultimately brought to a hospital for treatment.
According to the DPS, no one else was critically harmed in the collisions.
